Subcontracts Administrator Associate
Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Subcontracts Administrator Associate at GDIT. HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACTAdministers subcontracts through pre-award planning, subcontract award, post-award administration, and closeoutDocuments all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policySupports new business activities including issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), soliciting subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and evaluating proposal submissionsPerforms analysis on proposed subcontractor pricing to ensure price reasonablenessProvides advice and interpretation of contract requirementsTeam player who is willing to jump in and help others Subcontracts Administrators meet critical deadlines and is willing to at times work additional hours to meet mission needsThe ability to quickly move from one action to another with a strong memory and attention to detailGenerate reports or responses to data calls on subcontract activity as requiredServes as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issuesInitiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliersParticipates in special projects as requiredMay coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Subcontracts Administrator Associate must have:Education: Bachelors degreeRequired Experience: 1+ years of related experience in subcontracts administration or corporate environmentsRequired Technical Skills:Microsoft Office SuiteRequired Skills and Abilities:Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oralAbility to juggle multiple tasksEffective communication skillsProblem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given dayCustomer service skills, attention to detail, responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situationsLocation: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA.
