Windows Server Engineer, Senior

Join GDIT as a Windows Server Engineer, Senior and build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you.MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Windows Server Engineer Senior, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful.Contribute to completion of major engineering programs and projects.Develop solutions to a variety of highly complex Windows/Linux engineering problems.Perform highly complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.Oversee highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.Perform highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.Perform continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems.Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and work with management to evolve current processes.Perform additional duties as assigned.May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals.May serve as a team or task lead. WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Windows Server Engineer must have:Education: Bachelor's degree not required.
