Visionaries like you work on teams that save lives by developing the medicines of tomorrow.</p><p></p><p>Join us in developing treatments, finding cures, and pioneering the path from lab to life while championing patients every step of the way.</p><p>Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine" target="_blank">https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine</a></p><p></p><p>We are searching for the best talent for a hybrid Pharmacy Technician in Pittsburgh, PA.</p><p></p><p>Purpose:</p><p></p><p><span>The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for preparing medications for patient use under the general supervision of a licensed pharmacist, in accordance with federal and state laws, and Patient Service Center policies. </span>This position reports to the Manager of Pharmacy Operations.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Assists pharmacist(s) with pharmacy fulfillment activities</p></li><li><p>Communicates with staff about sufficient inventory quantities regarding medication delivery</p></li><li><p>Fulfillment of prescriptions including, but not limited to: product receipt, lot tracking, and shipping coordination</p></li><li><p>Accurately enter patient prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system</p></li><li><p>Additional projects and activities as assigned</p></li></ul><p></p><p> Required Qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</p></li></ul><p></p><p> Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) licensure</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a pharmacy technician</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 1 year experience of non-commercial pharmacy or specialty pharmacy experience</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 1 year of experience performing prescription data entry</p></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-Hybrid</p><p></p><p>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
