However, all applications will be considered.</p><p></p><p>We are searching for the best talent for <b>Floor Lead Warehouse</b></p><p></p><p><b>Purpose</b>:</p><p>This job is responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods. Activities include shipping and receiving; warehousing; order filling, picking, and packing; inventory control & records management; dispatch; developing transport schedules, methods, and routes; analyzing and projecting transportation costs; maintaining, loading, packing, and driving vehicles; evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers, trucking / shipping companies, etc.).<br /> </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Responsible for warehouse and distribution activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing materials and finished goods.</li><li>Reviews and analyzes inventory reports and surplus stock lists to improve inventory control.</li><li>Collects and interprets information on present and future distribution needs for planning purposes.</li><li>Ensures conformity with shipping commitments, evaluates shipping deadlines and takes corrective action to eliminate behind-schedule conditions.</li><li>Coordinates special distribution efforts to achieve new product introduction.</li><li>Supervises the receiving and storing of merchandise and finished goods supplies.</li><li>Oversees the inspection of incoming material for conformity with order and specifications and for defects.</li><li>Arranges for return of defective material.</li><li>Arranges for inventory reviews and reconciles book inventories with physical counts.</li><li>Evaluates distribution and transportation operations, data and facilities in order to support the identification of the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for products.</li><li>Receives and inspects goods and verifies items against the shipment record.</li><li>Gathers, verifies and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method.</li><li>Records received and shipped items.</li><li>Prepares, processes and distributes daily shipment documentation for all facets of inbound and outbound services.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications / Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Associate degree or equivalent experience.</li><li>5 years of warehouse/distribution experience preferred.</li><li>Strong product knowledge is required. Basic knowledge of the skeletal system is preferred.</li><li>Solid knowledge of Microsoft’s Outlook, Excel, Word, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.</li><li>Proven ability to interact as liaison with associates and management.</li><li>Must be able to effectively communication to communicate with diverse groups of people, both internal and external to the company.</li><li>Experience with managing multiple projects at once and can coordinate and prioritize in a successful manner.<br /> </li></ul><p><i>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
