Our work depends on a Software Developer joining our team in Bossier City, LA.HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACTResearches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications softwareAssists with all phases of the software development lifecycleAssists with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needsAssists with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an applicationPerforms software updates, refinement, testing, and debuggingAssists with the documentation of software or system for future maintenance and updatesWHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Required Experience: BA/BS degree and 2+ years of related Linux experience (additional years can be considered in lieu of degree)History of developing applications and troubleshooting issues within the codeWriting in C, C++ along with development of scripts.Compiling code using GCC and Make file systemsRequired Technical Skills: C, C++, Linux, System/Software Design, GitLab and JavaRequired Skills and Abilities: Application Development, Software Development, Problem Solving, understanding network communicationUS Citizenship RequiredComp TIA Sec+ - Required within 6 months of hireActive secret clearance OR previously held secret clearance preferred, must have ability to obtain interim clearanceThis is a 10 hour day-4 day work weekOnsite at Bossier City, LA GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays #GDITpriority
