First lady Michelle Obama recorded the appearance last summer as part of her Joining Forces effort in support of military families
The first lady is bringing her dance moves to the small screen.
Michelle Obama is scheduled to appear this month in an episode of Nickelodeon's "iCarly," in conjunction with her Joining Forces effort in support of military families, according to Entertainment Weekly.
In the episode, Carly, played by Miranda Cosgrove, and her friends host a webcast in celebration of Carly's father's birthday. Her father, an Air Force colonel, is unable to attend, and Obama shows up to commend them.
Carly and other characters sometimes participate in "random dancing" on the show, an activity the first lady joined in during her appearance, a clip of which can be seen at chicagotribune.com/icarly.
Obama's appearance, recorded last summer, is scheduled to air at 7 p.m. Jan. 16 on Nickelodeon.
